Slide show presentations contributed by members
We have now adopted Flickr as our chosen medium for displaying Club photos.
Flickr is an image and video hosting website which was developed by Ludicorp, a Vancouver based company that launched Flickr in February 2004. As of November 2008, it claims to host more than 3 billion images.
For us, Flickr provides an exceptionally easy way of making Club photos available to Members. Uploading photos to Flickr takes much less time than did the creation of the original web based albums and the Flickr environment offers many more facilities. Photos can be organised into Groups and viwed as slideshows and individual photos can be copied and downloaded to you own machine.
For more information on Flickr see their home page on the folllowing link Flickr Home Page
The Wey Valley photos can be accessed, either by going to our home page on the Flickr site (see Wey Valley Photos) or by accessing individual photo sets through the link below. Once in a set click on the Slideshow Icon (top right) to run a slide show or click on an indiviually photo to enlarge it.
